Sick Week

I’ve been sick for about a week and just started feeling better a few days ago. Not really sure what it was, but felt like an intense cold. No covid specific symptoms, I’ve still never had it thankfully.

This completely threw my composing streak out of wack though. I have a few tracks due mid-May that I need to finish. Luckily these are all night time themes and I’ve already written the day versions. So I at least have something to go off of. I’ve also missed just listening to music, as I mostly played games in bed or slept while sick. I’ve had prog rock on today, and am gonna listen to some T-Rex just to see what they’re about. Its still funny to me that my current gigs have me writing folk/farming music, city pop, and orchestral RPG music. Yet my listening habits are sort of in between all of those things. I do hope to have the chance to write more emotional or sad music soon, and also maybe some aggressive stuff. I’ve been writing so many environment themes lately haha.
